Cesar DonnaCESAR, Dalma - Passed away peacefully on April 24, 2021 at North York General hospital after 6 years of courageously battling multiple illnesses. She was 84 years old.

She was born in Toronto, the only daughter of Gabriel and Vilma Cesar.

She will be missed by her four daughters Bonnie Czegledi, Laura Cesar(Rolf Weinmann), Debbie Czegledi(Dan Dempster) and Jennie Sloan; her grandchildren Andrew Klotz, Daniel Klotz, Cole (Amanda) Sloan, and Brianna Sloan, and her great granddaughter Bohdi Sloan, and many family and friends.

Growing up she lived in Toronto and Locust Hill. She played the piano and was a pitcher on a softball team. She loved sharing memories about her parents and family history, her first dog Butchie and her grandmother.

During her adult years, Dalma loved food, cooking, gardening, reading tea leaves, theatre, playing scrabble, sewing and knitting. Dalma’s family enjoyed the beautiful products of her talents as she embraced her interests with unwavering  and meticulous enthusiasm.

After many years working as a Business Systems Analyst at the Yellow pages, Dalma enjoyed her retirement travelling, hosting international students, hiking with friends, attending her walking groups, cooking courses, French and finance interest groups.

She had very strong beliefs in nature, equality and fairness.  We recall with loving smiles, Dalma fiercely shaking her fist at an injustice.

We’d like to express our deepest gratitude to all mom’s Carers, friends and family near and far who provided comfort, care, support and love during mom’s final and difficult years.

Memorial services will be held at a date in, hopefully, the near future when we can all be together. Details will be announced when the time and place is confirmed.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to charity of choice.
