TURNER, Blanche Eleanor (nee PURVIS) - 77, of Ingomar, was born May 3, 1944 and passed away May 11, 2021 following a stroke.
She was predeceased by her husband, Brian Turner.
Blanche was loved by her family, community, and lifelong friends.
She had a successful career as a child psychologist and helped many families thrive in a number of settings across Canada.
Blanche loved to host friends and family and could often be found socializing wherever she lived.
She loved the times spent with her grandchildren.
Living in a number of different communities offered limitless opportunities for antique hunting and road trips.
She was a voracious reader and was continuously emptying the shelves at the local library. Blanche is survived by her children and their families: Brian S. Turner, Cameron MacKinnon Turner, Jason Turner, Deanna Bru, Ayanna Turner-Bru, Simon Turner-Bru, Kate Turner, Seth Renaud, and Olive Renaud.
Donations can be made in her memory to the McKay Memorial Library in Shelburne, Nova Scotia.
