PIGOTT, Pauline Noelle Pigott   -  Died peacefully on April 21, 2021 at 83 years.

She is predeceased by parents Hannah and Noel Pigott, brother Winston Pigott and leaves behind her sister Allison Assam, nieces and nephews Kim-marie Pigott-Brown (Ebi Soroush), Paul Pigott (Hope), Dr. Stefan Assam (Dr. Penelope Amritt) and Camille Assam.

Pauline loved her family deeply and was a devoted aunt, a source of strength who provided valuable guidance and wisdom to her nieces and nephews; she was always available to listen and provide support to friends and family. 

Born in Jamaica, Pauline left to study nursing in the United States at age 18. 

Having practiced nursing for a short stint, she moved to Toronto 5 years later to continue her studies at the University of Toronto which she then followed with a Masters in Psychology at the University of Waterloo. 

Pauline was devoted to caregiving and caring and made it her life's work. 

After many years at Johnson and Johnson as the head of the Employee Assistance Program she retired in 2004. 

Throughout her life nursing remained a passion and she continued to practice at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital on alternate weekends, in addition to her role at J&J. 

After retirement, she continued working at Bloorview for a number of years and also Bellwood Health Services Addiction and Mental Health Rehab Facility and often spoke fondly of her patients. 

A world traveller who was an avid reader, she also had an appreciation for art and collected Canadian Indigenous works.   

She will be very much missed by family and her many lifelong friends and remembered for her love of a good laugh, boundless energy, keen intelligence and kindness.
