Toronto Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
George loved his family with all his heart, creating the loving close family that he enjoyed.
Wife Tsila (nee Philippov), sons Louis (Erna), Steve (Melody) and predeceased by Philip.
Beloved dedo to his many grandchildren Colette (Paul), Christopher, Samantha, Innis, Christian, Emily, and Bradley (Mia) and his newest joy great-grandson Bennett.
He was also close with his many siblings, cousins and friends throughout his life.
A believer in community he was an executive member of the Trsye Benevolent society for over 50 years keeping the village folks close through dances, picnics, kids Christmas parties and zapost lunches.He ran the Belfield restaurant for 30 years before his retirement in 1993.
Working with many partners and friends throughout this time. Saturday morning breakfasts with his sons and grandkids were a highlight, as were the many family Sundays cleaning up after banquets in the early days.
Admired by his family and many friends he will be sorely missed as an example of how to live an extraordinarily good life.
