BACCI, Elda Marina (nee Bonacchi) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday June 3, 2021, at the age of 82.
An only child, born in the mountain-top village of Limano, in Tuscany, Italy, Elda immigrated to Canada with her parents, Nella and Andrea in the early 50's and settled in Toronto among the many Paesani who had arrived in the years before them.
Married nearly 68 years, Elda is survived by her loving husband, Remo, her sons Adriano (Mara), and Roberto (Christine), by her cherished grandchildren Amanda (Gianluca), Andrew, Michael and Sofia, and great-grandson, Matteo.
Elda will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral service and interment will be private. Arrangements with Ward funeral home, Weston chapel.
