Buczkowski WallyBUCZKOWSKI, Wally - Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on June 4, 2021 with close family by his side.

He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife, Janet, who took loving care of him until the end of his journey.

Wally was the beloved father of Ashley (Brett) and step-father to Lorne (Jackie), Matthew (Whitney) and Luke.

Proud Papa and Dziadzio to his six grandchildren - Avalyn, Benjamin, Chloe, Reid, Riley and Ruby.

Loving brother to Helen (George), Irene (Edward), and the late Stanislaw; and caring uncle to Melissa (Matt), Adam (Lynne), Monica (Robin) and Erica.

Wally was born on December 5, 1955 to the late Edward and Anna Buczkowski. Growing up, he lived in downtown Toronto where he enjoyed bike rides with his buddies, maintaining these friendships throughout his life.

Wally was a kind and generous man who always put his family and friends first.  He was passionate about hockey, music and classic cars - especially his 1969 Pontiac Firebird.  He was known for his smile, his sense of humour and his love of conversation.

Due to the current restrictions, a private family funeral will be held on June 10, 2021. A celebration of Wally’s life will be held at a later date.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Hospital for their outstanding care of Wally.

In lieu of flowers, consider donating in his memory to the The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre .
