Wyton MargaretWYTON, Margaret (nee Gilbert) - It’s with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Margaret Wyton (nee Gilbert) age 85 at her home in Brampton on Saturday, June 5th, 2021.

Her heart finally gave out. It was never the same after her husband Kenny of over 63 years passed. She was lonely for him, but not for the lack of love from family and friends.

She and Kenny travelled around the world throughout the years and befriended folks and animals everywhere they went.

She was rich in family and is survived by her children Cindy and Darrell, surrogate mother to Cheryl.

Grandmother to Stefanie (Chris), Jason (Diana) and Holly, Sydney and Shane. Great grandmother to Dylan, Emily, Douglas and Easton. And also literally hundreds of nieces and nephews and cousins.

Also survived by brothers John and David. Predeceased by children Terri Ann and Douglas, and by siblings Doris Flint, Rose Sturgess, Edward Gilbert, Georgina Cartlidge, and Kathleen Louden.

Maggie was a force all her own and she empowered all who knew her. She touched all of their lives and gave them the confidence to be themselves and to flourish.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bethell Hospice.

Arrangements are entrusted with Andrews funeral home, Brampton chapel.
