Casuga FrankCASUGA, Frank - On Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021, at the age of 50, our beloved Frank Casuga left the physical world to be reunited with the angels that have passed.

Frank was born on Oct 22nd, 1970 in Manila, Philippines to his proud parents, Felipe and Francisca. In 1975, his family immigrated to Canada and resided in Toronto then later moved to Mississauga.

Growing up, he would spend hours at the arcade, playing volleyball and poker, robbing ice cream stands and causing trouble with his close-knit brothers, Fred and Ferd and his loving sister, Florence.

Frank was the ultimate family man. His known catchphrase “Don’t worry. Don’t worry, I got it.” is only a small representation to the means he would go for his loved ones. At Medieval Times in 1994, he was the knight in shining armour to the love of his life, Jackie. For a joyful 25 years, he would visit her every day, call her every night and text her 143; a thing he would do to tell her he loves her.

Throughout this time, he was a proud “girl dad” to his two amazing daughters, Keanna and Raechel, and faced his fear of cats by welcoming Bella and Meko to the family.

Frank was a very altruistic man; always making sure everyone was happy. He loved to barbecue during family occasions and introduce new Latin music he found to his sister in law Susan and his mother in law Berta. Frank had a song for everything and the moment he finds one, he’ll play it non-stop til he finds a new one.

Although he was known to keep a straight face, especially in pictures, he had such a warm heart. He knew he had a big family that loved him dearly. His immediate members along with their wives, Lisa and Ruth, and his nieces and nephews, Andres, Mateo, Diego, Vanessa and Olivia. He also enjoyed seeing his extended family at holidays or events like Christmas and the Barkada.

Frank loved to keep a simple lifestyle but that never stopped him from having big dreams. He had specific clothes he would wear all the time, certain hats and shoes.

He would choose a home-cooked meal over going out any day and with a family full of chefs, that wasn’t hard to fulfill. He hoped to open his own restaurant and dreamt to move to a private island with his family. Frank was a firm believer in having a strong and open mind. As many know, he would try any and every new food. You would know if the food was good if he says anything other than “it’s okay.” Apart from that, he would always remind his girls to “have a strong mind” and to “always stay strong.”

May this message resonate with all of us as we deal with his passing. Frank wasn’t scared of anything. He’s always been the “strong tough guy” that held everyone together. He would want everyone to be strong, just as he’s always been. Now it’s our turn to follow his example.

Frank is finally on his private island, having a Caesar with his father as they watch over Frank’s niece, Cataliya.

For your consideration, the family has created a GoFundMe page for donations, via the website of Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel, which is entrusted with arrangements.
