KORAC, Milan Louis - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Milan Korac, fondly known as "Mike". Milan passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in his 96th year.
Beloved husband of the late Rose Korac (married for over 49 years).
Loving father of Diane, Michelle (Neil), Mickey (Denise), Paul (Laura) and honorary son Joe Vrtik. Cherished Jeda to Caitlin (Robin), Michael, Neil, Mitchell, Lindsay, Emma and Andrew.
Predeceased by his parents Luka and Deva Korac, brother Louis and sister Milka.
Special uncle to Paul Baycetich, Diane Korach (Eli) and George Baycetich and their families.
A special thank you for their love and support, Dave and Donna Butt. Mike was the proud owner of the Alpine Hotel in Scarborough for over 64 years.
A landmark where friends and families gathered for generations.
He enjoyed his retirement at his farm in the Kawarthas where family and friends often visited.
Always a busy household and Dad made sure there was plenty of food and Shlivo for everyone. Dad we promise your legacy will live on, we promise to to take care of each other and make sure we put the fire out! God Bless Jeda, and you're with Nanny now!!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family funeral will be held on Thursday, June 10th. A Celebration of Life for Milan will be held at a later date.
