Sister of Thomas, Albertha (Walton), and Vivian. Cherished Sister-In-Law of Frankie (Merle), Grace, Carol, and those who have gone before. Relative of the Gittens, De Landros, Mondesis and Carringtons. Dearest aunt, cousin, friend and teacher to many.

Roscita was a proud mother who led with an open heart and provided shelter and sustenance to many. She served her community through her role as an impactful teacher and mentor to thousands throughout the years. She was strong, kind, and always found ways to bring joy and adventure into the lives of her children, family and friends. Planning, organizing and connecting were her superpowers.

While we are eternally grateful for the 89 years she was blessed with, we are deeply saddened by her passing. We have lost a bright light but her memory will always live on.
