Peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 89 years of age.
Paul was the cherished husband of Laureen for 40 years.
Loving father of Catherine Hermans (Herb) of Bayshore Village, Steven Ash (Darlene) of Indiana and Diane Rakoff of Toronto.
Proud grandfather of Michael Hermans (Michelle), Raymond Hermans (Samantha), Tim Ash (Kristin), Kaitlynn Ash, Aaron Rakoff, Ashley Rakoff and great-grandfather of Adelyn, Cohen, Owen, Sophie, Landon, Austin, Logan, Olivia and Marcus.
Dear brother of Shirley Murray (Steve Huszarik) of Midland, Michael Ash (Sharon) of Michigan and Peter Ash (predeceased). Favourite uncle of Christopher, Lynsey, Heather and Daniel.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care.
As per Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place and private family arrangements have been made.
