Billing JeanBILLING, Jean Elizabeth (nee FRASER)   - August 28, 1937 - June 9, 2021

Jean passed away at home in Toronto on June 9, 2021, surrounded by family.

Jean was born and lived in Windsor, Ontario for most of her life.

Beloved daughter of the late George and Jessie Fraser nee (Graham).

Jean served for the Salvation Army Grace Hospital for 35 years mainly as an emergency room RN.

Jean was a "Grace grad" and the hospital was like a family for Jean and kin.

Jean was predeceased by cherished husband Robert Lincoln Billing (1997). Robert and Jean moved from Windsor to the village of Northridge to rural life and enjoyed gardening on the family farm, Jean continued to work in Windsor until retirement.

After Bob's death and many years of dedicated nursing, Jean returned to Windsor and continued enjoying retirement, often with lifelong friends the "Gopher" girls, traveling with them regularly.

Jean was preceded in death by: older brothers Jack and Graham Fraser of Bracebridge and Windsor; sister-in-law Elverda Ruston, (Brampton/ Essex) and always to be remembered brother-in-law William Henry Billing (1920-1944). Jean is survived by children: Michael and Barbara (Gary Daprato); grandsons Maxwell, Carey and Andre; sister- in-law Dorothy Fraser all of Toronto.; sister-in-law Melba Matthews (Ray) of Kingston.; sister- in-law Birdie Fraser of Windsor; 10 nieces and nephews mainly of Windsor, Toronto and Guelph, many calling Jean their favourite auntie.

Family and friends will gather to toast Jean's life in Windsor at a later date.
