Wilson DorothyWILSON, Dorothy Ann   - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Ann Wilson (nee Prophet) at Innisfree House, Kitchener on June 3, 2021 at the age of 91 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Douglas and brother William "Bill".

Loving mother of Bryan (Teddy), Bruce (Carla) and Brenda (Jack).

Treasured grandmother of Cheryl (Chris), Kevin, Geoffrey, Kirsten, Chris and Jacquie (Mike).

Proud great-grandmother to Cara, Chayla, Chase, Cadence, Audrey and Keenan.

Though she thought herself shy, Dorothy liked being active in the community through the United Church, Explorers, Meals on Wheels, the Visiting Library Service, and later knitting and quilting for donation.

She was an avid golfer and attended the Masters Tournament for many years until her health declined, and thereafter provided her passes to friends and family.

She travelled extensively with Doug making new friends and experiencing different cultures through the States, Europe, Africa, and South America.

She enjoyed getting to know people and wasn't shy to strike up a conversation with those she met in her travels. Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who loved her and will remain in their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the CNIB Foundation, the Alzheimer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society and Innisfree House.
