Sikverio AntonioSILVERIO, Antonio Caldas - It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, Antonio Caldas Silverio, 86, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 7:30 a.m.

Antonio was born in Nazare, Portugal.

He immigrated to Canada in 1970 to better his family’s future. He was a true family man.

Antonio is survived by his wife of 66 years Georgina Silverio and their three children and spouses: Antonio and Maria Ascensão Silverio, Maria Natalia Dovale and Paula and Durval Linhares.

His grandchildren Diana (Aj), Christopher (Clara), Anthony, Amanda, Christian, and Alexandra and two great grandchildren Nicolas and Leia.

He was the happiest when surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Antonio had an enormous passion for his birthplace, Nazare, Portugal, and was a soccer lover. A dedicated fan of Sporting. Antonio’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren have had a great loss. He was the pillar of the family and example to how we want to live our lives.  He will be deeply missed by his family.

May he rest in peace.

Due to the current Covid - 19 restrictions in Toronto that allow a maximum number of guests to attend a funeral, the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invite-only.

The family thanks you for your support and understanding during this challenging time.
