FACCA, Bruna (Tolfo) - Passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 89 while surrounded by family.
She will be lovingly missed by grandchildren Stephen (Kiersten), Louise (Tom) and daughter-in-law Lorraine.
Bruna is predeceased by her son, Adrian (2011), and her husband, Gino (2015).
She will be sadly missed by her family and the many friends she made throughout her lifetime. Bruna will be remembered as a kind soul, who always had a smile and a nice word for everyone.
Bruna followed her husband Gino to Canada in 1955 and immediately found work in the Toronto garment industry with her one-of-a-kind invisible mending skills, which she continued to utilize well into her 80's.
A high-standing member at the Famee Furlane for many years, she also served as president of the Societa Femminile Friulana, helping to plan and organize many of their events. Bruna also volunteered much of her time to the community she helped to build, including 40 years of service to the Canadian Blood Services.
Visitation will be held at DeMarco Funeral Home, Toronto on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021. The service will take place at St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic Church, 1675 Finch Ave., toronto on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021at 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
