HARVEY, Harold "Allan" - Harold Allan Harvey, known to friends and family as Al, passed peacefully on June 11, 2021 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, Ontario, in his 91st year after a brief illness.
Allan is lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (nee Sayers); his daughters, Loraine (Eric) Dean of Barrie, and Carol Harvey (Brian Colby) of Richmond Hill; and grandchildren, Andrea (Bry) and Alexandra.
Allan will also be fondly remembered by his sister, Verna (David, predeceased) Elliott; Sayers in-laws, Allan (Gloria) and Ron (Bernice); and many nieces and nephews who carry wonderful memories of "Uncle Al".
Allan was predeceased by brothers, Edward (Noreen), Gordon (Phyllis) and Herbert Harvey, and by Sayers in-laws, William (Grace), Herbert (Ann) and Victor (Mary).
Al had been retired for 25 years from Public Utilities Scarborough. He and Barbara moved to Barrie in 2017 where they continued to enjoy their independence.
The family is deeply grateful for the St. Elizabeth home care providers, particularly Sam; and the compassionate and exceptional care from family physician, Dr. Matt Orava, and the many wonderful caregivers at RVH, particularly the surgical unit which provided compassionate end-of-life care to Allan and his family.

A celebration of life will be live-streamed from Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, Barrie, on Saturday, June 19th at 2:00 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, only immediate family will be present in- person for the service.
