Snelgrove RobertSNELGROVE, Robert Evans - Born June 28, 1941, Bob chose medically assisted death on June 10, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was the cherished husband of Jean Simpson and the loving father of Chris Snelgrove.

Bob will be sadly missed by his stepchildren, Naomi, Kevin (Joanne) and Carolyn (Jim).

Beloved grandpa of Elyse, Lindsay, Molly, Dylan and Jesse.

Son of Edith and Gordon (deceased).

Brother of Tom (deceased) and his wife, Dianne. Much loved uncle of Colleen, Trevor and Scott.  Dear friend of Cindy Snelgrove.

Valued friend to many, both at home in Montreal, Toronto and at his treasured cottage on Lake Memphremagog.

Bob was a husband, father and entrepreneur, born in Montreal, where he lived until 1994, when he married Jean and moved to Toronto. He continued working in Montreal as President of Pneus Southward and ICM until 2018 when he sold his last business, commuting weekly in the winter and joining Jean in the summer months on Lake Memphremagog.

Bob’s strength of will and tenacious character will be remembered by his family and friends, as will his enjoyment of the finer things in life. We will miss dinner parties at the cottage, boating on the lake, sunsets at Bonita Beach, cutthroat games of cribbage and Bob’s lively perspective on politics and life.

Donations may be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

We are grateful for the care he received through PMH and the many support staff who have assisted throughout the past year.
