SOUSA, Manual Silva - Passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021 in Toronto.
He was born on January 24th 1931 in Pico, Acores, Portugal. He was the eldest son of Jose Mateus and Maria Georgiana.
He immigrated with his wife Aida, and his two young sons Manuel and Carlos to Canada in 1959 where they had two daughters Gabriela and Bernice.
He supported his family as a logger in BC, then as a landscaper and crane operator in Toronto. His life passion was his family.
He was an avid sports fan and a die-heart leafs fan.
He will be deeply missed by his son Carlos (Ana), daughters Gabriela (Nick) and Bernice (Jason) and grandchildren, Eric (Bianca), Vanessa, Erin, Rachel, Ethan, Renee, and two great grandsons Logan and Henry.
He will be reunited with his loving wife Aida and adored son Manuel.
Due to the current Covid - 19 restrictions in Toronto that allow a maximum number of guests to attend a funeral, the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invite-only.
