Bezos FayBAZOS, Euphrosin 'Fay' (Lazopoulos) - It is with great sorrow that we declare the Loss of our Beloved Mother today June 18, 2021, who passed away peacefully in her home amongst her loved ones.

She was 90 years young, born March 30, 1931, in Nemea (Corinth) Greece.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of nearly 70 years (our father) James Dimitrios Bazos who died May 15, 2019 from Kerastari (Arcadia) Greece.

She leaves behind a Legacy of over 24 progenies, including: her only daughter Patricia (husband Gordon Martin), her eldest son Sam ( wife Evangelia), middle son Michael (Mixalis), and youngest son Thomas (Thanasis). Fay also leaves behind 10 (ten) grandchildren & 12 greatgrandchildren. Mother is predeceased by her eldest sisters: Anna (husband Anastasios Papoutsis), and Konstantina/ Dina (husband Harry Mittas); & youngest siblings Magdalena (husband James Collins / Koliniatis) & youngest & only brother Georgios / George.

Fay emigrated here from Greece in 1953 where she was introduced to (& after one chaperoned movie-date) married her husband James Bazos who was working for Devon's Ice Cream (predecessor for Becker Milk Company). They exchanged vows on July 1953, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Fay held strong Greek traditional values, stemming from her culture, & faith.

Mom dedicated her to her children & passed them on both their values and indoctrinated the importance of being honest, faithful Christians and the importance of a strong education. During this period the gender roles were insignificant father being the sole breadwinner, and the mother's complete attention was directed to the health, safety and welfare of their four children.

Viewing and final respects will be performed Monday, June 21, 2021 from 10:00AM to 12:00pm. At Metamorphosis tou Sotiriou, Greek Orthodox Church, 47 Donlands Avenue. The funeral Liturgy service to follow at 12:00pm to 1:00pm with the deceased to lay at rest next to our father James.
