APOSTOLOPOULOS, Vasiliki - Passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021.
Better known as Vaso, came to Canada in 1963 with her husband, Michael, and their two children, Thanasaki and Fofi.
In 1966 they were further blessed with Maria.
Vaso was an accomplished seamstress and was very active in the Greek community. She did much fundraising for Greek Orthodox churches, as well as the yearly walk-a-thon for Hellenic Home for the Aged, which was her last home before her passing.
In addition to her philanthropy, she was a very social person, organizing dances and events for seniors and community members.
She was a kind and generous woman, almost to a fault. She carried herself with grace and class everywhere she went and with whomever she dealt with. Being Greek meant all to Vaso. Not only schooling her children in Greek, but as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Vaso touched and impacted the lives of so many. She was much loved, will be dearly missed, never forgotten.
