Sequeira LucilleSEQUEIRA, Lucille - We are deeply saddened by the passing of Lucille Sequeira on Sunday, June 20th, 2021 at the age of 81.

Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Born to Rose-Alma and Xavier Pouliot in 1939 at St Jean, Ile d’Orleans, Quebec. Lucille moved to Toronto in 1965, where she met her husband, Charles.

Together they lived in Aurora where they raised their three children.

Lucille was a strong, loving woman, full of faith and hope. She always put others before herself and dedicated her life to her family. Lucille found joy in being outside maintaining the gardens, lawn or going for walks in the neighborhood. She loved attending dances and listening to music. She was a competitive bridge player and enjoyed trips to the casino with her friends. The family remembers her famous dishes especially her spaghetti sauce, meatballs, turkey, and mille-feuille dessert.

We will cherish and take comfort in the many memories we have.

Lucille is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, and three children, Steven (Jennifer), Sandra (Stephen), and Kevin (Andrea). She is also survived by her pride and joy, the grandchildren: Jackson, Ryan, Samuel, Alyson and Thomas.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother Onesime. Lucille is survived by her brothers and sisters: Antoine (Monique), Cecile (Gilles), Irma, Onesime dec. (Georgette), Jeanette (Lorenzo dec.), Michel (Isabelle), Jean-Charles, Marie-Claire (Denis), Denis (Johanne), Lucien (Susan). She is also survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law: Audrey (Hubert), Ralph (Marie), Enid (Donald), William, Delphino and Gerard (Joy). She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Thompson Funeral Home, Aurora. Visitation will be available with limited capacity on Friday June 25th. See the funeral home's website for details.

A private funeral will take place on Saturday June 26th at Our Lady of Grace Church in Aurora. The funeral is also available virtually by livestream.
