OSIOWY, Michael Lawrence - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, loving father, poppy, great-poppy Mike Osiowy on June 21, 2021 at the age of 86.
Mike was born and raised in Hazelridge Manitoba on November 10, 1934. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Watsko) Osiowy.
Beloved husband of Diane Lee (Gentles) Osiowy. Devoted father of Lee-Anne VanderWerf (Bill Brown) of Lindsay, Ontario.
Loving poppy to Kayla VanderWerf (Derek) Kilbride and great-grandchildren Melanie & Matthew of Little Britain, Ontario.
Loving poppy to his favourite (and only) grandson Nicholas VanderWerf of Toronto, Ontario and Laura and Evan Brown of Toronto, Ontario.
Mike is predeceased by his late brother Louis (Pat) Osiowy and sister Adeline (Howard) Lamont and will be missed by his sister Jean Ross. He will be greatly missed by Doreen and Al Hayward, and Donna Clarke, all from Toronto, Ontario, as well as his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We would like to say a very special thank you to his caregivers and nurse, and thank you to the doctors and nurses for Scarborough Birchmount (Scarborough Grace) Hospital in his last days.
