She was in her 100th year.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late John Andrew Nattress and loving mother of Lynda and the late William Laceby, David and Barbara Nattress.

Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey and Lisa Laceby, Kimberly and Scott Gray, Jennifer and Michael Cecconi, Michael Laceby, Christine and Marc Mainguy, Andrew Nattress and Tammy Somerville.

Dear sister of Neil, Henry, Bruce, Dora and Jim, all pre-deceased.

It has been a true gift, that not many young people get to experience, for most of Jean’s 11 great grandchildren to truly get to know this incredible woman and to spend time in her company.

She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1974 and continued as a key pillar of family strength, determination, and love for her family. Jean was a gracious, kind, and loving person who loved to travel and worked well into her 80’s.

She will be lovingly remembered for her laughter, her deep love of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her ever-present independent spirit.  We wish for you – dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother – never ending peace and love and light on this next stage of your soul’s journey.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 5750 King Road, Nobleton, on Saturday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m.. Interment of cremated remains following at Bolton.
