McGOVERN, Edward Arthur - (March 15, 1941 – July 21, 2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Arthur McGovern on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the age of 80.
He was one of three partners at Radiation Solutions and was vice president of sales and marketing for over 15 years. He loved his job and stayed active and involved until the very end.
To have known him is to have enjoyed his happy spirit, his kind soul and great sense of humour. He was always there for his family ready to lend a helping hand. Beloved husband to Marlene McGovern. Devoted father to Mark McGovern and dearest grandfather to Christian McGovern. Survived by his siblings Bill McGovern and Helen (Robert) Loveys.
A private celebration of Edward’s life will occur at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Newediuk funeral home.
Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
