Crawford TracyCRAWFORD, Tracy-Lynn - Beloved mother Tracy-Lynn Crawford, age 47, passed away at Toronto Western Hospital on Friday, July 16, 2021 after a week-long battle to overcome a sudden massive stroke.

Her immediate family were by her side every day and showered her with love until her final moments.

Tracy was born on Friday, September 21, 1973 in Georgetown, Ontario to Pam Barrager and James Crawford.

Her role model and best friend was her grandmother Marilyn "Nani" Crawford.

Tracy was a true animal lover.

She rescued dozens of animals throughout her lifetime.

From raccoons and pigeons to rabbits and cats, she took deep comfort in helping the helpless and turned her house into a mini animal sanctuary.

Tracy had a passion for learning about veterinary science and had hoped to eventually make her dream come true by becoming a veterinary technician.

Aside from caring for animals, Tracy was also a neighbourhood mom. Old or young, weak or strong - Tracy would always welcome those who were struggling, to stay in her home.

Many saw Tracy as a mother or a big sister. She did not judge anyone by their past or present circumstances and always tried to see the beauty in everyone. Tracy's love and humour made her house a home.

Tracy is survived by her father, mother, brother, two daughters, five cats, and a bird.

Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Toronto on July 23, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Humane Society can be made in Tracy's name.
