RUSSO, Elvira (nee Pantusa) - Our beautiful Mother, Elvira died peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Oakville, Ontario on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the age of 91.
Elvira was predeceased by the love of her life, Franco Russo.
Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Teresa (and husband John Rocha) and her son Carlo.
Devoted and proud Grandmother of Alessia, Isabelle, Giancarlo, Sofia, Francesca and Julianna.
She was predeceased by her loving family members, parents Giovannina and Salvatore Pantusa, siblings Maria, Luigino, and brother-in-laws Franco, Nino, and sister-in-laws Eva, Luigina and Dora.
She will dearly missed by siblings Rita, Antonio, Antonietta, sister-in-law Teresa, and brother-in-laws Antonio and Franco. Zia
Elvira will always be treasured in the hearts of her adoring nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews across Canada and Italy. Our kind Mother will not be forgotten by her caring neighbours, church parishioners and friends. Elvira led her life with conviction, deeply rooted in her faith and love for her family and friends; she will be remembered for her love, grace, and vivacious spirit.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Bosco Church (402 Westmount Ave., east of Dufferin St.) on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow.
