WASHCHUK, Henriette "Henri" - Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Friday, July 30, 2021, at McCormick Home in London, Ontario, at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of 52 years to Paul Washchuk.
Loving mother of Sean (Tanya Baxter) and Kristi (Matthew Renkema). Cher
ished Omi of Carys, Cole, Callyn, and Ella.
Dear sister of Angelika Hoffman, Eitel Lindenburger, and Cornelia Sturgess.
Predeceased by her parents, Bringfriede and Albrecht Lindenburger.
Born in Ziethen, Germany, with formative years in Oshawa and then Toronto before raising her own family in Sudbury. Henri ultimately moved to London to be closer to her grandchildren.
She was a strong tennis player and elegant skier, showing us all the finer points.
Henri nurtured the most beautiful flower gardens, and loved hosting and cooking for family and friends. Unfailingly supportive, she always cheered for her children, and then grandchildren, in all of their sporting endeavours.
She will be especially missed by family, friends, and her devoted husband.
