Robitaille Robert BobROBITAILLE, Robert 'Bob' - (January 23, 1955 - August 3, 2021) - Bob passed away quietly in the early morning with his wife Gabi by his side.

He is survived by six siblings, Dianne, Denise, Anita, Richard, Paul, and Paulette, plus many nieces and nephews. Bob was not the eldest or the youngest, but fell in between and was considered the glue that kept this large family connected.

Bob enlisted in the Canadian military at 17 years of age, he served his county for 24 years before retiring in 1996. Throughout his military career he had been stationed at several bases across Canada from Ontario to B.C. He also did four years in Germany where he met and married Gabi. He did several U.N. tours, Cyprus, Golan Heights (Israel), and Bosnia, with also a tour up in Alert.

To be close to his family, Bob and Gabi moved to Toronto after retiring from the military, where he continued to work as an electrician until he finally retired for good.

Bob loved to travel, especially the road trips, he was in his element behind the steering wheel exploring the open road. He also loved Europe and was hoping to make another trip when possible (after covid), and another cruise was also on his agenda.

Bob was the kindest and gentlest of men with a quick wit and great sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by his family and all his many friends. Forever in our hearts.

Arrangements are entrusted with Ward funeral homes, Weston chapel. A private family funeral service will he held, we thank you for your understanding.
