DUDA, Justina - March 28, 1923 - September 8, 2021
With sadness we announce the passing of Justina Duda, at the age of 98.
She was predeceased by her husband, Laimutis (2000).
Loving mother to Yolanda Dziengo (Bruce) and Sigita Huys (Martin).
Proud grandmother to Julia, Matthew (Jennifer), Stephanie (Brian) and Melanie.
She was also very excited to be a great-grandmother to Aria, Mason, and Emery.
Justina was born in Siauliai, Lithuania and came to Canada at the age of 23.
She cared for her family in Lithuania and never lost contact.
She remembered with extreme fondness her first two years in Canada, when she worked as a nurses aide in Winnipeg, Manitoba, as part of the immigration program at the time.
It was there she met her husband, also from Lithuania, and married. They later settled in Toronto.
She spent her last years in the kind and gentle care of Labdara Nursing Home.
Justina was proud, honest, and put family first. We love you and miss you.
