TRUBASHNIK, Senya - on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Baycrest Health Sciences.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Senya Trubashnik, just two days short of his 87th birthday.
Father of Anna (Michael), grandfather of Elli, Leah (Rafi), and Shayna (David) and great grandfather of Levi, Yael, and Noam.
Senya was a prominent musician and music teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music for many years. Senya was principal oboist for some major orchestras, including the Moscow Philharmonic, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic, Ghent Opera, Symphony Nova Scotia and North York Symphony Orchestra.
He will be remembered for his love of music, his dedication to family, to living a life filled with culture and for teaching the importance of hard work, humour, and enjoying life. He will be deeply missed.
The service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
