NACCARATO, Elena - With great sadness, we announce the passing of Elena on September 16, 2021 at the age of 65.
Beloved daughter of Maria and the late Settimio.
Dear sister to Luigi (Lina) and cherished zia of Maria (Kevin McLeod) and Settimio (Kate) and great-aunt to Lina.
Her loving partner, Bob Wass, survives her.
Elena lived a fulfilling life surrounded by her loving family and held a deep bond with her mother, Maria. Elena held a shy and quiet demeanor to most she met, but to her family she was always a beacon of sunshine, happiness and most of all, love.
Elena would always lend a hand, teach others and support and care for those she loved. Elena’s favourite pastimes included her regular Saturday outings with her partner, Bob and would never miss an opportunity to go to the casino with her family – no matter the time.
Elena cherished her time with her family – going out for dinners, family gatherings and would never turn down a scratch ticket if one (or more!) were on offer! Elena will be dearly missed by all of those close to her, but the light of her life will continue to shine bright through the wonderful memories her family are so fortunate to have.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Alphonsus Church (540 St. Clair Ave. W., at Vaughan Rd.) on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elena may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital.
