GIORGIO, Antonio - Passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Our beloved “Papà” and husband to Flavia Giorgio (predeceased) is now reunited with his amore.
Dearly beloved father of Rocco (Connie) Giorgio, Ugo (Jodee) Giorgio, Danny (Violet) Giorgio and
Connie (Mark) Giorgio-Dormon.
Loved son of the late Giuseppina Giorgio (Nee. Giannini) and Rocco Giorgio.
Dear brother of the late Dominic George and Donato Giorgio. Dear brother in law of Col. Donato Calabrese and Don Ugo Calabrese both residing in Italy.
Loving “Nonno Tony” to Andrew, Amanda, Sylvia, Angel, Michael and Gabriel. Great grandfather to Christopher, Juliana, Arielle, Alexa, Jacob and Connor.
Tony had a love for family, friends and life. Always eager to experience new destinations and adventures.
He loved music, gardening and “strumming his 6 string.” Antonio was very appreciative of the personal piano and guitar “concertos”. He was particularly proud of his musical family and loved hearing and singing along to his favorite tunes and improvising up until the very end.
Antonio had a warm and inviting smile. He was full of energy and ready to converse with anyone. He always made you feel special because he communicated with “a sparkle in his eyes and kindness in his heart”.
He enjoyed the comradery and good times shared with friends and the “George Family Clan”.
Papà ti vogliamo tanto bene e sei sempre nel nostro cuore. Dio vi benedica. Riposa in pace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 4 – 9 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, Etobicoke. Funeral mass at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 277 Royal York Rd., Etobicoke, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow.
