Bremner FlorenceBREMNER, Florence Emily (nee POUNDER)   - Passed away peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on September 3, 2021, at the age of 90 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Florence, from Singhampton was the cherished daughter of Edwin and Isobel Pounder (both deceased) of Stayner. Florence was predeceased by her loving husband James Bremner (2007).

Loving Mother of Randy, Kerry, Jeff (Jackie), Brad (Trina) and Tim (Lorraine).

She was treasured by her beautiful grandchildren: Lucas, Raewyn, Shael, Adrian, and Xuxa, Jolene, Janessa and Jesse, Taylor and Peter, Connor, and her great-grandchildren: Phoenix, Troy, Owen, Iyannah, Clarence, Clayton, Caleb, Axel, Scarlet, Rowan, and Georgia.

Florence was the much-loved sister of Dorothy (Billie) (Sam) McLeod, deceased, and Brian (Vivian) Pounder of Orillia.

She will be greatly missed by many fine Bremner, Mcleod, and Pounder nieces and nephews. Florence attended Byng School, Stayner. She worked for Bell Telephone in Toronto as a long-distance operator. She married Harris James Bremner and has lived in Singhampton ever since.

Her activities in Singhampton include: many church functions, Sunday school teacher, sang in choir, reading scriptures, Women's Institute, dressing up for Halloween, Santa Clause Parade, Ramp Romp. Florence was a true bird, nature, and neighbour lover, had and displayed a strong Irish heritage, possessed a truly green thumb, and was an avid fisherwoman!

She was as well, a prolific published poet! The family would like to thank Reverend Ray Dobson, Dr. O'Halloran, the staff at Campbell House Hospice, seventeen devoted PSWs, nurses and their coordinators, Sue C, Sue N, Sue T, Sheila, Gaylene, Heather, Sharon, Trina, and Florence's wonderful neighbours!!

Memorial donations can be made to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House, Collingwood, The Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.

A celebration of Florence's life will be held at a later date.
