RAPOSO, Maria Adelaide - Passed away peacefully on September 16, 2021, in her 95th year.
Maria was born in Pico, Azores and lived in Sao Paolo, Brazil and Sao Miguel, Azores before emigrating to Canada to raise her family
She was predeceased by her Husband, Pedro and her Daughter Nelia.
Maria will be dearly missed by her children, Peter (Janet), Luis (Vash), Helena (John) and Son-in-Law Gregory.
She also leaves behind her dearly loved Grandchildren, Brendan (Cassidy), Mark, Theo, Alex, Justin, James (Tashia), and Great Grandchildren, Tristan, Dilin, Sky-Anne, Zoé, Wulf and Winnie.
Also mourning Maria will be her many Nieces and Nephews as well as her good friends Michael Foran, Connie Ferreira, and Nourhina.
Her family wishes to thank the entire staff of New Horizons Tower, where Maria was very happy. As a long term resident she received the best and most compassionate care we could have asked for.
The visitation will be private for immediate family and close friends. The family respectfully thanks you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.
