LOPEZ, Luis Alfredo - It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Luis on September 11, 2021.
Luis was born in El Salvador on August 31, 1946 to Jose Luis Lopez Godoy and Delia del Carmen Velazquez v. de Lopez. He was the eldest of six siblings.
He was a certified accountant in El Salvador.
In 1972 he left it all to immigrate to Canada in search of a better life.
With next to no money, he worked hard, became a machinist, eventually going back home to marry and return to Canada to start a new life.
Luis is preceded by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Isabel.
His children, Wendy (Jared) and Kevin (Nancy), his grandsons, his pride and joy, Maxton and Owen who he called his own, siblings: Lilian, Orlando, Mario, Margarita, Betty, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held for Luis on Friday, September 17, 2021.
