Boukaras KatherineBOUKARAS, Katherine - Was born on January 31, 1955 and passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021.

Anyone who knew her knows what a vibrant beautiful soul she was.

Katherine had wit and a heart of gold. She was a fighter throughout her life.

She was one tough cookie despite all she went through during her battle with cancer and she never complained and never gave up hope.

She never stopped being a mother, a wife, and a friend. She was always there for you know matter what.

Katherine was a beautiful remarkable woman. She was a hero and an inspiration to us all. She was selfless and always put the needs of others before hers. She has always been pro philanthropy and would love to help those in need. Katherine had an unshakable faith and was a true believer in God.

In lieu of flowers we would love to honour her and continue her selfless acts of giving by donating funds to impoverished families in the community.

There will be a donation box the day of the viewing for those who would wish to donate. If you cannot attend and still would like to donate, you can e-transfer to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (password: donation) and we will continue to honour her by helping those in need.

She will be forever missed by her loving husband Andreas, her kids Ellie and Dean, her son in law George, and her grandchildren who absolutely adored her Katrina and Marianthi.

Her memory will always be forever eternal.

Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Sunday, September 26th, 2021. The service will take place at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church of Markham, 11359 Warden Ave, Markham on Monday, September 27th, 2021 at 10:00am.
