McNAUGHT, Charles David 'Charlie' - Charles David McNaught, “Charlie” or “Sonny”, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2021 at the age of 61, while at his home in Brampton, ON.
Born November 14, 1959 in Toronto, to Ethel (deceased).
Charlie is survived by his daughter; Samantha (Justin), Granddaughter; Amelia, Brother; Michael McNaught and, beloved partner; Kathleen Hannah.
Charlie’s pleasures in life included holidays, late-night dinners and classic car shows with Kathleen, Friday nights with the gang at the donut shop, brought together by their shared passion for muscle cars and a lifetime of friendship. A dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, he remained hopeful for a Stanley Cup each season and watched every game.
Charlie cherished memories of time spent with his daughter and was so proud to have shared in the joy of her wedding day, he was over the moon at the birth of a grandchild.
A proud truck driver for 35 years. Charlie was respected by his colleagues for his skill, dedication to safety in his profession, and his kind & friendly nature that allowed him to make a friend at every delivery dock.
A celebration of life will be planned where/when it is safe to do so. Arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Brampton chapel.
In lieu of flowers and, to honour Charlie’s memory, the family asks that you consider a donation to The Canadian Lung Association, contributing to ongoing research for COPD.
