Hurley PaulHURLEY, Paul John - (1951 - 2021) - Paul Hurley passed away peacefully at Bridgepoint Palliative Care Centre on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

His family would like you to remember him as he was, a loving husband, a fabulous dad, “the best grandpa ever,” a wonderful brother and uncle, and a good friend.

Paul spent his life dedicated to his family that he loved dearly, and to the countless children he taught throughout the years. Paul was both a teacher and coach during his long career at the Toronto District Catholic School Board. Throughout these years, Paul had an unwavering passion for the children under his care.

Among Paul’s great gifts were his quick wit and sense of humour. Even as he struggled with cancer over the past year, he was always able to treat this awful disease, even on the bad days, with levity and positivity.

We will all just miss him, in so very many ways, so very much.

Join us in a celebration of Paul’s life at the Balmy Beach Club on Saturday, October 2nd at 3pm. **Due to COVID, friends under the age of 12 cannot attend the celebration on October 2nd. Please RSVP at : https://www.eventbrite.com/e/celebration-of-lifewake-for-paul-hurley-tickets-178964015187

In lieu of gifts, please make a donation to the Bridgepoint Palliative Care Centre in Paul’s memory where he was so well cared for during his final days.

Arrangements are entrusted with Rosar-Morrison funeral home.
