WILD, Anton (Tony) - Surrounded by the love of his family, Anton died peacefully on September 18, 2021 at the age of 91.
He will be dearly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Dorte, and their sons Andreas and Derek and their families.
Anton grew up in a large family and is survived by his sister Resi and other relatives in Germany.
Retiring 31 years ago from a long teaching career at Harbord Collegiate, he remained very active and enjoyed life.
He loved to work with his hands, especially in construction of the house in Caledon and work around the property.
He will also be fondly remembered by his friends, neighbours and the church community at St. Cornelius.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Meadowvale Funeral Centre, Brampton, ON L6Y 5L5. Subject to Covid restrictions, a visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. with service and burial to follow.
