Rago MarioRAGO, Mario - Gently, quietly and peacefully - just as he always lived his life, our cherished and beloved Zio Mario passed away on Friday September 24, 2021 at the beautiful age of 92.

Recently predeceased by his dear wife Carmela, of 70 beautiful years, he will be missed beyond measure, deeply loved, and remembered always by his family and many friends.

Mario lived a remarkable life driven by strength and love.

He was incredibly hardworking and dedicated and had a soul that was beautifully gentle and kind.

Above all, he was a loving and generous man who always left an imprint on everyone’s heart.

When we think of his precious life we will remember all of the beautiful, loving years he wholeheartedly and selflessly gave us. We will smile remembering his soft smile and jovial spirit. We find great comfort in our faith and in knowing he is now reunited with his soulmate and all who he loved who were called home before him. We will honour and share his memory all the days of our lives.

Our glasses will always be raised in your memory. We will miss you dearly until we are reunited with you once again.

Per tutto quello che ci hai dato in questa vita, grazie infinite Zio.

Family and friends will be received at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Monday, September 27, 2021. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church (2 Richardson Ave., Toronto) on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
