Cosentino MariaCOSENTINO, Maria Emanuella (née Giorgio) - (1967 - 2021) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Emanuella Cosentino (née Giorgio) on September 21, 2021 at her home in Newmarket.

Beloved wife of Lou Cosentino for 34 years. Devoted mom to Daniel, Krystina and Bianca.

Loving daughter to the late Rocco and Lucia Giorgio and daughter-in-law to the late Corrado and Anna Cosentino. Caring sister to Stella, Frank, Anthony and Rita and sister-in-law to Mary and Carmela.

Maria will be deeply missed by her nephews and nieces, by her larger extended family and many friends.

Maria was a natural caregiver. She spent her life looking after everyone around her without complaint. Her pride and joy was her family and she was at her happiest when she was surrounded by her kids. If Maria wasn’t in the kitchen cooking up a feast for a casual weeknight, you’d find her in the living room in her cozy onesie, cuddled up with her spoiled “fur babies.” She loved decorating the house for Christmas and baking endless batches of biscotti for her family and friends. Maria was truly a selfless person.

While we will deeply miss Maria, we take comfort in knowing that she was genuinely happy with what she had in life and was grateful for the people who knew and loved her.

Visitation and services were held at the Thompson Funeral Home in Aurora.

Those wishing can make a donation to Diabetes Canada in lieu of flowers.
