Jordann BernardJORDAAN, Bernard  -  Passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021, surrounded by his family, in his 84th year.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lois of 28 happy years.

He will be remembered by his daughter Vonita (Greg), his son David (Debbie), his grandchildren Brittany (Jigar) and Ashley (Austin), great-grandchildren Kayden and Lain, and very special niece Barb (Brad).

He is survived by his sisters Audrey (Vern) and Rhona (Walter), brother John, along with nieces and nephews throughout Canada, Cape Town, South Africa and Australia.

Bernard was very active in his community. He was instrumental in promoting benefits for local seniors and advocating for senior supports and rights.

Bernard was well-loved and known through the Meadowvale Seniors Social Club and United Senior Citizens of Ontario, where he served 3 consecutive terms as elected President. He was a recipient of many awards, such as the Ontario Seniors Achievement Award for outstanding contribution to the community.

They were known for coordinating their outfits on and off of the dance floor. He loved spending time with family and friends and never missed an event, special occasion or outing.

Bernard was deeply loved by many, and he will be missed beyond words. But, we are at peace knowing he's reunited with his Soulmate - Life and Dance Partner, Lois. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the team on 3G-Coronary Care Unit at Credit Valley Hospital for providing Bernard with such compassionate care during his last days of life.

Due to the current pandemic, a private service will be held for invited guests only, at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday, October 23, 2021. The service may be viewed remotely.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Bernard's memory.
