PORASZ, Agnes 'Agi' Judith - On October 15, 2021 she passed peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital with her loving husband and family at her side.
She is survived by her husband, George of 66 years, who together built a wonderful life full of adventures, travel, love, and family.
She is dearly loved and will be missed by her children and their spouses, Ed, Bernadette, Anita, and John.
She will also be remembered with great love by her grandchildren, Neil and his wife Kristen, Mark, Alex, Jason and Nicole.
She was born in Hungary where she met and fell in love with her husband 75 years ago.
Together they fled Hungary to have a better life and raise a family in Canada.
She was an engineer, a teacher, and an inspiration to many. She was often found in the pool swimming and training for her next swim meet, competing all the way to the age of 83!
She has travelled the world with her best friend and wonderful husband. She was always full of life, telling stories, laughing, and caring for others.
The family has chosen to hold a private memorial.
Her love and laughter will remain in all our hearts forever.
In memory of Agi, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
