CONNELL, Maureen "Honey" Gladys (nee HAZELWOOD) - On Friday, October 15, 2021, Maureen passed away peacefully in her 85th year at The Village of Humber Heights.
Loving wife for 61 years of the late Donald Connell, mother of Kelly (Allan) and Jane (Alex), and sister of Patricia Smith. Grammie, always stylish, will be sadly missed by grandchildren Stephen, Amy, and Alexa.
Predeceased by her sister, Faye, and parents, Helen and Roy.
Born in South Porcupine, Ontario, Maureen will be fondly remembered by her and Don's cousins, nieces and nephews.
So many cherished memories were made at the cottage in Southampton and Runaway Bay, Maureen will be remembered and missed by so many dear friends from the neighbourhood, Westway United Church and the Westway Bridge Club.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, spaces are limited, registration is required to attend.
