MARKS, William Dennis - Bill died peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, Ontario.
Son of Pauline and Bert of Schomberg.
Youngest brother of Jim and his wife Joan, Pat and her husband Clive, and Mic.
Dear nephew of Ollie and Vicky.
Beloved husband of Theresa.
Devoted father of Bill (1969-2021) and his wife Karen of Kitchener, and Dan of Vancouver. After graduating from Ryerson University, Bill worked for Colgate-Palmolive, and BP, before joining Deb Canada.
Bill started with Deb as a sales rep and retired as the Managing Director.
Bill was a generous supporter of the Waterloo Regional Food Bank, many local hospitals, and St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver.
He will be missed by his nieces and nephew, many friends, and the neighbourhood kids and dogs.
His family wishes to thank Dr. Habib and his staff, and the staff of Grand River Hospital and Hospice Wellington.
Bill's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener. Those wishing to attend Bill's visitation must RSVP through the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grand River Hospital Foundation, Hospice Wellington or Food4Kids Waterloo Region.
