SURJU BindramettiSURJU, Bindramatti - Passed away on October 20, 2021.

Bindramatti, of number 60 Village; born on October 23rd, 1937, Migrate to Canada 1983. Daughter of Rampatie and Beni Persaud.

Eldest of 10 Siblings.

Wife of the late Lalloo Surju.

Loving Mother of Six children, Roy (Jonathan), the late Patrick, Moses, Daniel, Desrie and Debbie.

Loving Grandmother of 10 and Great Grandmother of 7.

Bindramatti, a kind, loving, humble and respectful woman. She thought a lot of us that life is meaningless unless you respect yourself and others. Her passion was to educate and bring peace within when there was ignorance and corruption.

She always settle disputes with families and friends; without looking forward for any rewards. She would feed an entire village first before she fee herself; a woman of true character.

She was a single mother twice in her life with struggles from early days of her life; she managed to raised brilliant, respectful and whole hearted children with pride and without prejudice.

She was dedicated and determined to ensure all her children were educated; with complete success and no regrets. Anyone who knew her can speak without doubt of her remarkable poise and sense of humor, understanding and forgiveness.

Our mother will never be forgotten for she has left a beautiful trail of her kindness, charm and dignity amount all of us.

“God bless you” all on behalf of our mom as this was her famous phrase.

Visitation took place at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, Toronto on October 23, 2021. The service will be held in the chapel on October 24, 2021 at 10:00am.

Donations to the Hearth and Stroke foundation.
