ACTON, Patricia - Our beloved Pat, born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, NS, passed away peacefully at Belmont House in Toronto, on Thursday, October 21, 2021 in her 84th year.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, Brent (Carolyn) and Blake Acton; grandchildren, Trevor, William and John; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Pat also leaves behind her brother, Bill Luedey and sister, Judy Gillibrand, and was predeceased by her sister Donna Vandoninck.
Pat was happiest in her home on Fairfield Road, where she loved gardening and baking, walking her yellow lab, Beagsley and visiting with her many neighbours.
Many thanks to the staff of The Belmont House for their care during Pat’s stay with them (Veronica).
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home, Toronto on Friday, November 5th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5th. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6th. Due to Covid restrictions, both the visitation and service will be by invitation only.
