Ralphs ChristineRALPHS, Christine Georgia (Bartosch) - December 29, 1948 - October 24, 2021 - Christine passed away peacefully after a six-year journey with lung cancer. 

Christine was a woman of warmth and joy, determined to make everything more beautiful. She loved life, people, design, fashion, photography, and music.

Christine’s last project was a gift to the people of the City of Toronto, Reimagining University Avenue - A Radiant Journey. 

She was the founder of The Friends of University Avenue and co-owner of Lloyd Ralphs Design, with Michelle Lloyd Bermann, her best friend of 39 years. 

She spent many wonderful years at her summer cottage, Lola, on Snake Island and at her winter home in Bal Harbour, FL.  Christine was one of a kind, a lover of beauty and light, she will be greatly missed.

Christine is survived by her twin sister, Colleen Ryan and husband Tom Merz; nieces and nephews: Molly and Mike Carson family, Maggie and Craig Allen family, Kate and Patrick Mich family, Tim Ryan and Devan Hanna family, Nell and Mick Lindquist family, Dan Ryan and Katerina Stathopoulou family, Sean and Sami Ryan family, and Tess Ryan and Ian Reither; brother, Scott and wife Bonnie Bartosch; brother-in-law, Steve and wife Monica Ralphs and nephews: Tim and Kim Ralphs family, Adam and Dasha  Ralphs family, and Iain Ralphs and Michelle Jansova; aswell as Lucky, her beloved pup, and many other family and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 37 years, Peter.

No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations to www.reimagininguniversityavenue.org  or Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in care of Dr. Frances Shepard, for lung cancer research, www.thepmcf.ca would be appreciated.
