WYNBERG, Ida - On Thursday November 25, 2021. It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Ida Wynberg.
She was an inspiring and beloved mother and mother-in-law to Hartley Wynberg and Sarah Margles. Former wife and lifelong friend of Jack Wynberg. Adored grandmother of Ohaliav and Zusha.
Ida was born in a DP camp in Uzbekistan, the child of Holocaust survivors. She traveled though many countries before landing in Canada.
She trained in architectural design and loved spending her time translating Yiddish stories, playing accordion and piano, painting and drawing, and doing Lego sets with her grandchildren.
She had a full-hearted laugh, a sharp mind, a brave will, and so much love.
