It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad Charles on November 1, 2021 and our mother Betty May Rockwell passed away on June 23, 2018.
Chuck was born May 20, 1929, Betty was born April 12, 1931 in Brantford, ON and had one sister.
They were married on February 3, 1951 after meeting only 5 months earlier and celebrated their 67th anniversary with all of us.
They had two children, David (Sonja) and Dianne (Martin Holland) and 3 grandsons, Steven (Jaclyn) with Nora, Chuck's 1-year-old great-granddaughter, Michael (Tamara) and Paul (Ashley).
Chuck spent 40 years with CN and never saw a doctor until he retired in 1989.
Betty started with Bell at 17 and finished her career managing women's clothing stores.
Chuck was the youngest of two brothers and one sister who had all predeceased him.
They were all raised in Mimico during the Depression.
